Emaline Cannady Osborne

Mrs. Johnnie Emaline "Mutt" Cannady Osborne, 83, former resident of Brannon Court, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Columbia Care & Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Ursery and Billy Ursery officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late William Theodore Cannady and Etta Florence Williamson Cannady. She was a homemaker and child care giver who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Osborne was a member of Pentecostal Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Teresa (Robert) Taylor of Columbia; five sons, Roy (June) Osborne of Culleoka, Don (Patricia) Osborne of Culleoka, Wayne Osborne of Columbia, Joe (Diane) Osborne of Columbia, and Carl (Helen) Osborne of Culleoka; seven grandchildren, Mike Osborne, David Osborne, Ronnie Osborne, Joanna Osborne, Stacy Osborne, Jason Osborne, Jerry Osborne; two sisters, Willie Lee Cannady, Tommie Patricia Ursery; seven great-grandchildren, Faith, Kay-Kay, Courtney, Dylan, Lily, Leona, Gavin; a niece, Sue Graves; four nephews, Billy Ursery, Danny Ursery, David Ursery, Pete Cannady; one great-niece; and four great nephews. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Roy Osborne, Sr. and a niece Nancy Cannady. Pallbearers will be Jerry Osborne, Jason Osborne, Danny Ursery, Robert Graves, Alton Cannady and Timmy Cannady.
