Emelene Pinkleton Brewer

Mrs. Emelene Pinkleton Brewer, 77, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at her residence on the Theta Pike.Funeral services will beconducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols with Curtis Dowdy and John Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Floyd Pinkleton and Rosa Bell Lovell Pinkleton and attended Columbia Central High School. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Highland Church of Christ. She was a member of the Columbia Lioness Club for many years and as an avid bowler, a member of the Columbia Bowling League.Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Austin O. Brewer; daughter, Sheila (Chuck) Brewer-Herr of Columbia; sons, Randy Brewer of Lewisburg and Ray (Sherrie) Brewer of Columbia; sister, Malene Chumley of Columbia; brother, Floyd Pinkleton of Columbia; grandchildren, Natalie Counts, Nicole Rowe, Nick Brewer, Jennifer Crye, Cassie Potts, Aaron Potts and Benton Potts; great-grandchildren, Jaylin Counts, Ethan Brewer; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers are Nick Brewer, Aaron Potts, Benton Potts, Johnathan Counts, Mike Rowe and Jamie Crye.
