Emma Claire Tolley

Miss Emma Claire Tolley, 78, retired from Occidental Chemical Corporation and long-time resident of Hillcrest Avenue, died Sunday, September 11, 2005 at NHC Healthcare. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Spring Hill with The Reverend Robin Courtney officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 637, Spring Hill 37174 or Rose Hill Cemetery, P.O. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School, attended Bellhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi and was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Miss Tolley was a communicant of Grace Episcopal Church in Spring Hill and a member of the James K. Polk Memorial Association and Maury County Historical Society. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Robert E. Womack of Jackson, Mississippi; a niece and nephew, Kathy and Mike Morrison of Jackson, Mississippi and a cousin, Mark Tolley of Nashville. Pallbearers are Andrew Hunter, Wally Beasley, Jr., David I. Wise, Billy Booker, Mark Tolley and Mike Morrison.
