Mrs. Eris Marie Davis Crafton Ledford, 91, longtime resident of Sunset Drive, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jerry Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00–8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 12:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Born August 24, 1927 she was the daughter of the late George Edward Davis and the late Mary Elizabeth Redding Davis. On December 28, 1945, she married Russell Perry Crafton who preceded her in death October 2, 1992. On March 7, 1998, she married Tillman Ledford who also preceded her in death March 18, 2007. Mrs. Ledford worked several years as a sales lady for W.T. Grant, at H.G. Hills in the meat department, and babysat many children. She loved sewing, crafts, and working on word search puzzles. Mrs. Ledford was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Crane of Springfield; Mary Jane Roberts of Hendersonville; Martha (Randy) Goodwin of Columbia; sisters, Audrey Thurman of Lynnville; Betty Reasonover of Pulaski; Juanita Hamby of Pulaski; sister-in-law, Sandra Davis of New Johnsonville; grandchildren, Todd (Kim) Smith, Sherree (Steve) Lambright, Russ (Tanya) Smith, Kenneth (Leslie) Crane, Tammi (Todd) Fox; fifteen great-grandchildren, Miles, Brianna, McKenzie, Savannah, Samantha, Shelby, Skylar, Spencer, Kayla (Donovan), Corey, Austin, Makayla, Tori-Beth, Trey, Taylee; two great-great- grandchildren, Cameron and Ava; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by brothers, Donald Davis and Jimmy Davis; and son-in-law, Joe Roberts. Pallbearers will be Todd Smith, Kenneth Crane, Austin Crane, Randy Goodwin, Todd Fox, Johnny Paisley, Mike Mosley, and Marty DeJarnette.
