She worked tirelessly as a switchboard operator with the Chesapeake Telephone Company and later with P&A airlines. Most notably, she worked in Hampton Roads, Virginia at the Port of Embarkation, assisting in the shipping of electrical equipment to the US signal corps. Robbie met and married her beloved husband Mark Richardson, at the Naval Base in Virginia in 1947, they moved to Nashville in the early 1950’s where they lived together for sixty-five years and raised their family. For that we are proud and forever grateful. She is survived by her son, Terry Brown (Teresa Kelly) Richardson; daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Jerry Trescott); sister, Andrea R. Pitts; and grandchildren: Mark Albert (Sara Beth Loveday) Cunningham and Rachel Elizabeth (Brandon E. Maynard); sister in law, Lillian Sue Richardson ( John G.) Bass; cousins, Eugenia N.
