Ernest George "Sonny" Lehti

Ernest George "Sonny" Lehti, 65, retired rural route carrier in Hemet, California and resident of Westwood Drive in Columbia, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Montana. Born April 14, 1952 in Rapid City, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Ernest Lehti and the late Jean Crossman Lehti. Mr. Lehti served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife whom he married August 9, 1991, Linda Lane Lehti of Columbia; daughter, Wendy (Jeremiah) Alm of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Emma Alm and Owen Alm, both Minneapolis, Minnesota; step son, Jerad (Taylor) Porth of Broomfield, Colorado; brothers, Dave (Deb) Dotson of Rapid City, South Dakota and Jim Hoyt of Coram, Montana; and nephews, Mike Rogers of Sundance, Wyoming and Jimmy Dotson of Rapid City, South Dakota.
