Ernest E. Wilson, Jr. Mr. Ernest Edgar Wilson, Jr., 72, former resident of Covey Hollow Road in Culleoka, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Milton Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols. The Culleoka native was the son of the late Ernest Edgar Wilson, Sr. and Katherine Watkins Wilson. He was married for forty-five years to Dorothy Fay Hickman Wilson who preceded him in death December 10, 2000. He formerly worked for General Machine Works and was retired from Union Carbide and Conalco. He was an avid bluegrass guitar player and singer. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Wilson who died in 1972 and one brother, John K Wilson, Sr. who died in 2003. Pallbearers will be Donnie Marshall, Gordon Spivey, Harvey Spivey, Clyde Harris, John Boyd Cothran, Douglas Starkey, Buddy Marshall, John K Wilson, Jr., Johnny Tomlin, Russ Tomlin and Jack Westmoreland. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Cummins Couch and the staff at NHC Hillview.
