Erskine Hassell Holt Erskine Hassell Holt, 67, retired mechanic and resident of Culleoka Highway, died Monday, October 11, 2004, at NHC of Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The Giles County native was the son of Ruby Katherine Barr Holt of Ticetown in Giles County and the late Gentry Lee Holt. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Joe Wayne Holt of Lewisburg; one brother, Jimmy Clayton Holt of Lewisburg; one sister, Joyce (Dewey) Workman of Giles County; one granddaughter, Carol Lynn Holt of Lewisburg; special friend, Sharon Kay Sharp of Culleoka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Andrew Holt. Pallbearers will be family and friends
