Eura Mae Brunson

MRS. HENRY BRUNSON, SR. Mrs. Eura Mae Hickman Brunson, 97, retired from Dixie Manufacturing Company, widow of Henry Brunson, Sr. and former resident of West 13th Street, died Sunday, August 10, 2003 at Rosewood Manor. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Steven Kelley and Rev. Eugene Barrett officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Hickman and Laura Harris Hickman. She was a long-time member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, William "Bill" (Elizabeth) Brunson of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Connie (Mark) Tabor of Lawrenceville, Georgia, William Kenneth Brunson, Cindy Brunson, Patsy (Jimmy) Lovett, Henrietta (Eddie) Priest, Allison (Tammy) Brunson, all of Columbia and Sherry (Davy) Masemer of Nashville; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Alvin Brunson and Henry Brunson, Jr. Active pallbearers are Doug Hickman, Billy Hickman, Jerry Brunson, Jack Brunson, Wayne Lovett, Athel Hickman, Mike Hickman, Chris Brunson. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
