Eva Mae Crock

Eva Mae Gibson Crock, 63, resident of Life Care Center, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Willie Guy Gibson and Grace Pauline Johnson Gibson. She had been employed as a waitress at Ponderosa Restaurant. Mrs. Crock was a member of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Steve (Amanda) Carroll of Columbia; a twin sister, Mrs. Helen (Richard) Reed of Columbia; two brothers, Hal (Betty) Gibson and Melvin Gibson both of Columbia; one grandson, Derrick Carroll of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Carroll, and three brothers, L.V. Gibson, Willard Gibson and Charlie Gibson. Pallbearers will be Ricky Reed, Jamie Reed, Tony Helmick, Mike Gibson, Travis Ketchum and Danny Gibson.
