View Funeral Webcast Eva Lee Perkins McMahan, 102, retired hair stylist and resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 4:00 at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Porter King officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A private family graveside service will be held at Memphis Memorial Park. Born August 24, 1917 in Jonesboro Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Edward Cecil Perkins and the late Grace McDaniel Perkins. She was a graduate of Valley View High School. On October 27, 1938, she married Thomas Adolphus McMahan who preceded her in death February 14, 2009. Mrs. McMahan was a member of the White Station Church of Christ in Memphis where she taught children’s Sunday school classes. After her husband’s passing, she made her home in Columbia, Tennessee and became a member of The West 7th Street Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (David) Kirk of Columbia; Shelia (Terry) Cullom of Nashville: sister, Glenda Ruth (Jim) Craft of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jimmy (Noelle) Kirk of Spring Hill; Rebecca (Paul) Buchanan of Spring Hill; Laurie (Joey) Pewitt of Columbia; Heather (Mike) Fox of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Lance Cullom of Nashville; Matthew Cullom of Nashville; Amy (Bobby) Harris of Charlotte, North Carolina; Ronnie (Casey) Williams of Grant, Alabama; Emily (Michael) Johnson of Huntsville, Alabama; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; seven nieces; and nine nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Marie Kennamer. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Kirk, Matthew Cullom, Ronnie Williams, Joey Pewitt, Bobby Harris, and Michael Johnson.
