Evelyn Evelyn Gilliam Fitzgerald

Ms. Jo Evelyn Gilliam Fitzgerald, 73, resident of Community Care of Rutherford County, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Joe Rhea Gilliam and Viola Virginia Story Gilliam. She was a member of Central Christian Church. Survivors include a son, John Leslie Norman of Nashville; daughter, Kathy Oakley of Centerville; three sisters, Lauretta "Jinnie" (Sam) Peach of Murfreesboro, Jasmine L. Campbell of Hendersonville, Jan Jackson of Nashville; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Annette Gilliam. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
