View Funeral WebcastMrs. Mary Evelyn Jones Prince Hardison, 83, resident of N. Lasea Road in Spring Hill, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White and Ewing Neelley officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Dock E. "Ned" Jones and Betty Jane Luan Jones. She was married for 28 years to James Bernard "Pete" Prince who preceded her in death in 1971. She was later married for 27 years to Marshall A. Hardison who died in 2000. She was a charter member of Spring Hill Geneology Club and volunteered at the Maury County Archives. Mrs. Hardison lived in the Lasea Community for more than 80 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, Christian friend and was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy (Barbara Jean) Prince, Jerry E. (Patricia) Prince both of Columbia; two daughters, Betty Prince (Tony) Torcello of Meriden, Connecticut, Barbara Prince (Edward) Harmon of Spring Hill; one sister, Peggy Jo Hall of Spring Hill; seven grandchildren, Shonda (Mike) McCord, Misty (Todd) DePriest, Jerry Prince, Jr., Roger Dale, Jimmy (Krista) Cyphers, Teri (Tracey) Wilkins, Melinda (John) Tomaszewski; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tracey Lynn Ingram, Ronald Glen Dale; four brothers, J.T. Jones, A.D. Jones, Bobby Jones, Richard Jones; and one sister, Janie Mildred Warnack. Pallbearers will be John Tomaszewski, Tracey Wilkins, Jerry Prince, Jr., Randy Hall, Kenny Lancaster, Shane Lancaster, Eddie Jones, Jimmy Cyphers, Terry Burch and Landen Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be members of New Lasea Church of Christ.
