Evelyn Karen Beck Thorpe

Evelyn Karen Beck Thorpe, 56, retired employee of General Motors and resident of Holdens Hollow, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Monday at 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Chip Hunter officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born February 4, 1961 in Sandusky, Ohio, she was the daughter of Idanan Miller Beck and the late Thomas Beck. On June 1, 1983, she married David John Thorpe who preceded her in death January 16, 1993. Mrs. Thorpe was a member of First United Methodist Church and the UAW Local 1853.In addition to her mother, Idanan Miller Beck of Crossville; she is survived by her son, David Thorpe of Columbia; daughter, Dana (Josh) Victory of Shelby, Alabama; and grandchildren, Logan Victory; Joshua Victory, Jr.; Madysun Victory; and Shane Victory.
