Everett J. Stewart, 85, well known master carpenter and resident of Santa Fe, died Wednesday at his residence. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at Santa Fe Cemetery with Reverend James Lunsford officiating. Born June 7, 1935 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Walker Jackson Stewart and the late Eunice Westmoreland Stewart. Mr. Stewart enjoyed hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger and was always a good neighbor to everyone. He is survived by his wife, Clara Brady Stewart, whom he married October 19, 1963; brother, Charles Stewart of Primm Springs; and sisters, Barbara Chessor of Columbia, Ann Badcock of Franklin, and Melvie (Roy) Potts of Santa Fe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, R.W. Stewart, Dean Stewart, Ronnie Stewart, Bob Stewart, and Kenneth Stewart; and sisters, Mary Goodman and Kathy Humphrey.
