Fannie Dee Fox Drewett

Mrs. Fannie Dee Fox Drewett, 89, retired from Venus Pencil Company and resident of the Mooresville Pike, died Saturday, December 30, 2006 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Middle Tennessee Chapter, 4004 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 219B, Nashville 37215. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Ezekiel Fox and Maggie Sally Davis Fox. She was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. She was married in 1945 to Oliver Watson Drewett who preceded her in death in 1982. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Edward (Anne) Drewett of Lynnville and Lyndale Ray (Evelyn) Drewett of Culleoka; a sister, Betty Ruth White of Lewisburg; two brothers, Roy Allen Fox of Lewisburg and Paul Fox of Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren, Pat (Clarence) Baker and Tommy Drewett of Lynnville, Kevin Drewett of Culleoka, and Sheldon Drewett of Florida; three great-grandchildren, Forrest Nolan, Sierra Drewett, and Gracie Drewett; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou McAdams and a brother, J. B. Fox. Active pallbearers are Alvin Walker, Dwight Fox, Clarence Baker, Jeff Carroll, Tommy Drewett, and Kevin Drewett.
