Murriel Faye Hancock Ingram, 95, passed away peacefully at her residence in Columbia, TN on Friday, February 14, 2025.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Pleasant Mount Cemetery with Brother Byrd Broyles officiating. She was born on October 6, 1929 in Wayne County, Kentucky to the late William Hancock and the late Elizabeth Cook Hancock. Faye lived a life guided by faith, kindness, and devotion to her family. She embraced her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with unwavering love and selflessness. Her deep faith in the Lord shaped her journey, evident in the compassion and generosity she extended to those around her. Faye found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for bird watching and gardening, appreciating the beauty of nature in all its forms. She also cherished time spent in Bible study, drawing strength from her faith. Above all else, she treasured moments with her family, creating lasting memories filled with warmth and love. Those who knew Faye will remember her for the light she brought into their lives. Her kindness and self-sacrifice left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to those she leaves behind. Well done good and faithful servant!

Survivors include her three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Ingram, Catherine (Bob) Wiley, and Sarah (Dennis) Hayes all of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Beth Ann (Brandon) Bone, Ashley Phelps, Zach (Jackie) Kennedy, Sarah Wiley, Rachel (Joe) Landry, Martha (Jon) Morrow, and Sarah Beth (Jim) Gill; eleven great grandchildren, Anna Arnett, Kanvas Phelps, Karysma Phelps, Hayes Morrow, Emma Greer, Camille Landry, Caden Bone, Harper Kennedy, Aedan Turner, Conner Kennedy, and Luke Wiley.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Ingram, grandson Scott Wiley, and six brothers and sisters.
