Felix Campbell

Felix Campbell Mr. William Felix Campbell, 89, retired employee of Union Carbide and resident of Old Highway 99, died Thursday, February 26, 2004 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White and Andrew Brown officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie Campbell and Lucie Veach Campbell. He was married to Ila Johnson Campbell who preceded him in death September 10, 1995. He was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, J.W. (Dorothy) Campbell of Columbia; one daughter, Darlene (Dwight) Groves of Columbia; four grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Campbell, Jeremy (Amy) Campbell, Pamela Groves, Stephanie Groves (Michael) Fisher; and three great-grandchildren, Coy Campbell, Madison Fisher and Nicholas Campbell. Pallbearers will be Shelby Carpenter, Jimmy Lunn, Hershel Campbell, Horace Glenn, Kelley Collins, Willard Temes, Jason Campbell, Jeremy Campbell and Michael Fisher.
