MRS. FLORRYE SCHALYO Mrs. Florrye Lollis Schalyo, 92, resident of Harris Street, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at NHC Hillview. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M., Friday at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. James Gardner officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Carroll County, Georgia native was the daughter of the late William Thomas Lollis and Lorine Scudder Lollis. She was married to Nicholas Steven Schalyo who preceded her in death March 26, 1998. She was a retired credit interviewer for The Broadway Store in Hollywood, California. She was a member of Craft Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include two nephews, John McEntyre of Columbia, Tommy Mayne of Anniston, Alabama; and two nieces, Mrs. Julie Emigh of Anniston, Alabama and Mrs. Brenda Seilacher of Birmingham, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Allen Scudder, Larry Layne, Dale Smith and Ulna Fox. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. Cummins Couch, Dr. John F. Worthman and nurses and staff of NHC Hillview and Maury Regional Hospital.
