MRS. FRANCES CARUTHERS Mrs. Frances Hardison Caruthers, 85, resident of Carpenters Bridge Road and widow of Roy H. Caruthers, died Sunday, August 18, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Caruthers will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 at Oakes and Nichols with Jim Parnell and Andy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A native of Maury County she was the daughter of the late James Ed and Martha Derryberry Hardison. She was member of the Sharp's Corner Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marylin (Nolan) Pinkleton of Columbia and Mrs. Elizabeth (Jim) Parnell of Nashville; two sons, James (Linda) Caruthers of Richmond, Virginia, and Roy E. Caruthers of Columbia; other family members, Gail Caruthers and Julia Caruthers; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Brown, a brother, Milburn Hardison, 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Rodney Pinkleton, Ross Parnell, Graham Parnell, Billy Brown, Richard Beasley, and Stephen Moles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nolan Pinkleton and Alvin Parnell, who claimed Frances as their own Mother; Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, A. E. Caruthers, Charles Caruthers, Terry Pinkleton, Todd Caruthers, The Sharp's Corner Church of Christ Family, The Maury Hills Church of Christ Family, and The Donelson Church of Christ Family. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
