Frances Daniels Demastus

Frances Daniels Demastus, 94, retired nurse for King's Daughters Hospital and Hillview Health Care Center, died Monday, January 1, 2018 at her residence on Green Acers Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born September 8, 1923 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. Daniels and the late Thada Crain Daniels. For several years, she sat with Betty Oldham. Mrs. Demastus was of Methodist faith.Survivors include her husband, whom she married February 6, 1947, Billy Thomas Demastus of Columbia; son, Timothy Thomas Demastus of Columbia; grandchildren, Timothy Robert Demastus; John William Demastus; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Katie Demastus, Velma Russell, Annie Demastus Warren, and Eugenia Smith.
