Mrs. Frances Lorene Wall Derryberry, 80, resident of N. Main St., died Monday, June 5, 2006 at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elmer Lusk and Paul Derryberry officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Willie Wall and Frances Maskill Wall. She was a graduate of Giles County High School. On February 12, 1947 she married Robert Carlton Derryberry, Sr. who preceded her in death April 28, 2002. Mrs. Derryberry was a homemaker and a member of Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Locust Street Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Jewel Ann (Timmy) Copeland of Chapel Hill; one son, Robert C. "Bob" (Suzanne) Derryberry, Jr. of Columbia; one brother William Thomas (Narvie) Wall of Columbia; five grandchildren, Robbye Derryberry of New Jersey, Tara (Lyn) Stacey of Lewisburg, Tanner Copeland of Chapel Hill, Anna Grace Derryberry and Paul Derryberry both of Columbia; and six great-grandchildren, Jordan Reesor, Mattilyn Brewer, Tilden Copeland, Lane Stacey, Mary Grace Stacey and Janna Carter. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Clark Derryberry. Pallbearers will be Robert C. Derryberry, III, Paul Derryberry, Jordan Reesor, Tanner Copeland, Lyn Stacey, Bobby Pfieffer, Randy Sprouse, Newton Derryberry and Timmy Copeland. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Thomas W. Farmer, deacons and elders of Locust Street Church of Christ, and members of the Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
