Frances Dillehay

June 20, 1917 — July 22, 2007

Mrs. Frances Freeman Dillehay, 90, longtime resident of Mapleash Avenue, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at NHC Columbia. A graveside service will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Doug Brown officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 3:30 - 4:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Non-perishable food donations (no monetary donations please) may be made to Harvest Share Food Pantry, 419 West Ninth Street, Columbia, TN 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late Ivie Lee Freeman and Ruby Hastings Freeman. She was married to James Allison Dillehay who preceded her in death in 1965. Mrs. Dillehay was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ in the Petersburg Community. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Harold Agent of Spring Hill; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Gary) Parker of Centerville; Philip (Jenny) Agent of Spring Hill; two great grandchildren, Kirstin Agent and Reed Agent, both of Spring Hill; and one niece, Peggy (Thomas) Anderson of Columbia. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Carol Agent Smith in 1987.
