Frances Tucker Fitzgerald

Mrs. Frances Tucker Fitzgerald, 86, former resident of Union Place in Columbia, died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at her residence in Memphis. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Joseph Milburn Tucker and Anna Harbison Tucker and a member of the Graymere Church of Christ. In 1941 she married John Edd Fitzgerald who died October 22, 1987. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Denny Calloway of Collierville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Wayne and Debbie Fitzgerald of St. Louis, Missouri and Gary and Bonnie Fitzgerald of Atlanta Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John David Fitzgerald and two sisters, Marie Love and Evaline Savage. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
