Mrs. Frances Ellen "Fran" Church Hickman, 70, retired Licensed Practical Nurse, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at her residence on Martin Hollow Road in the Campbell Station Community. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Glen Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. A native of Delavan, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Harry Earl Church and Frances Mildred Brown Church. She was a 1955 graduate of Harvard High School and earned her LPN Degree at Pulaski Vocational Tech School. During her forty-four year career in Health Care, Mrs. Hickman worked eight years at Harvard Community Hospital in Harvard, Illinois and nine years at Memphis Methodist Hospital. She was employed twenty-four years fulltime and three years part-time at Maury Regional Hospital, where she was a Licensed Practical Nurse on the Orthopedic Floor. Survivors include her husband Leonard Gilbert "Bud" Hickman of the Campbell Station Community; one sister, Marjorie (Gerald) Hoey of Harvard, Illinois; two brothers, Robert Church of Harvard, Illinois; Richard (Jean) Church of Hiawatha, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and devoted friends and neighbors, Tom and Janet Schoonover of Campbell Station Community. She was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Church and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Church. Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
