Mrs. Mary Frances Eubank Humm, 81, former resident of Timber Trail Dr., died Monday, November 10, 2008, at Rosewood Manor. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Lunn officiating. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Eubank and Myrtle Holley Eubank. She was a former waitress at Ranch House in Columbia many years ago and also had owned and operated Wood's Steak House in Pulaski with her former husband, the late Clarence Chapman Wood. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Sarena Wood (Randy) Lovett of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Susie Wood of Columbia; sister, Betty Jo Eubank (Walker) Davis of Columbia; four grandchildren, Cindy (Tommy "Spanky") Russell, Tim (Brandy) Stewart, Tyler Wood all of Columbia, Tara (Rodney) Norwood of Minor Hill; five great-grandchildren, Sean Russell, Faith Stewart, Reece Norwood, Hannah Russell, Jaden Stewart; niece, Donna (Jerry) Locke, nephew, Kevin Hanvy; great-niece, Maria Locke; great-nephew, Brooke (Stephanie) Locke; one great-great niece; and one great-great nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Humm; two sons, Vincent Wood and Carman Wood; one brother, William Andrew Eubank; and one niece, Cheryl Hanvy.
