Ms. Frances C. Skelley, 94, resident of The Windlands on Sam Boney Drive in Nashville, died Monday, September 5, 2005 at NHC Place at Cool Springs. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer Crosby officiating. Burial will be at Knob Creek Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Hardy Skelley and Laura Alice Dodson Skelley. She was a 1931 graduate of Central High School and was retired from Graham Paper Co. and Castner Knott. Mrs. Skelley was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She attended the church of Christ. Survivors include two nieces, Alice Blanche Sewell Hambrick of Nashville, Erion Sutton of Spring Hill; two great-nieces, Janice Sharpton Elliott of Antioch, Debbie Hall of Nashville; five great-great nieces, Julie Calvin, Roxanne Hall, Amber Hall, Peggy Romano, Mary Anna Porter; one great-great nephew, Brian Elliott; one great-great-great niece; and two great-great-great nephews. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
