Mrs. Frances Murphy Voss Mrs. Frances Murphy Voss, 94, resident of Mooresville Pike, died Thursday, January 22, 2004, at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Burton Daimwood and Edward Clayton Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late I. C. Murphy and Mary Redding Murphy. She was married to James S. Voss, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 13, 1970. Mrs. Voss was a member of the Ephesus Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ann (Billy) Truelove of Columbia; two sons, Jimmy Voss, Jr. and Buddy (Mildred) Voss, both of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Jane (George) Horne of Columbia; two grandchildren, Jason (Emily) Voss and Jackie (Edward) Hargrove, both of Columbia; five great grandchildren, Chris Hargrove, Dustin Hargrove, Jessica Hargrove, and twins- Emma Voss and Jared Voss. Pallbearers will be Jason Voss, Tommy Hill, Tommy Murphy, Wayne Voss, Ronnie Harris, and Tommy Voss.
