View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Mr. Frank James Church, 77, a resident of Lee Drive, died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Church will be conducted Thursday, February 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Don Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born on September 18, 1944 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Sam Church and the late Cleo King Church. He married Martha Gail Moore Church on September 24, 1965. Mr. Church worked for Occidental Chemical Company for 25 years and then went on to work maintenance at Central High School and then Columbia Academy where he retired. He was an avid collector, loved antiquing, collecting and flea markets. Mr. Church was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his sons, Darrin (Gayla) Church of Santa Fe and Kevin Church of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Shelby Church, Sidney Church and Sophie Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Samuel Church; and a brother, O.G. Church. Pallbearers will be Chris Sharp, Eddie Sharp, Chris Holland, Joey Haywood, Troy Haywood, and Ricky Haywood. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky & Debbie Stanfill, Eddie Ables, Enoch George, Freddie Morton, and morning coffee drinking friends.
