MRS. FREDDIE MAE GORDON Mrs. Freddie Mae Brooks Gordon, 75, resident of Water Valley Road, died Thursday, December 19, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Coy Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Anglin Cemetery in Williamson County. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Fred Brooks and Blanche Mosley Brooks. She was married to Burl Gordon who preceded her in death September 14, 2000. She was a homemaker and member of Snow Creek House of Worship. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rhonda Gayle Collins and Mrs. Donna (Richard) Davidson both of Santa Fe; three sons, Charlie (Rita) Gordon, Dale (Tammy) Gordon both of Santa Fe, and Elmer (Beverly) Gordon of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Marie (James) Davidson of Columbia, Mrs. Dorothy (Bobby) Draper of Lafayette, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin and Mrs. Helen Gordon both of Santa Fe; six brothers, John (Johnnie Mae) Brooks, Steve Brooks, Ricky Brooks, all of Columbia, Fred Brooks of Spring Hill, Jimmy (Dorothy) Brooks of Mt. Pleasant, Ray Brooks of Memphis; eighteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Carl Fitzgerald. Pallbearers will be Anthony Gordon, Christopher Gordon, Blake Whaley, Garrett Whaley, Eddie Martin, and Wesley "Bo" McCandless, Jr.
