Garry Allen Heller

Garry Allen Heller, 70, a resident of Columbia, TN died Friday, March 14, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Riverside United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Marston officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 1:00 PM till the time of service at Riverside United Methodist Church.

Garry was born on July 25, 1954 in Angola, Indiana to Jean Ann Holden Heller and the late Robert Martin Heller. He graduated from Lakeland High School in LaGrange, Indiana in 1972 and on September 6, 1975 he married Denise Marie Beaty Heller. For many years Garry worked for several mobile home manufacturing businesses specializing in cabinetry, and after retirement he owned and operated Shipshe Video Store in Shipshewana, Indiana. In 2017 he and his family relocated to Columbia, TN and he became an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher and Chairman of the Trustees. He loved sports of all kinds but especially basketball and football and playing games and cards.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Denise Marie Beaty Heller of Columbia; his son Andrew (Tiffany) Heller of Columbia; mother Jean Holden Heller of LaGrange, Indiana; granddaughter Kayleigh Heller of Columbia; three brothers, Bryce (Susan) Heller, Bryan (Jackie) Heller and Steve (Kay) Heller; and several nieces and nephews.
