George Barnett "Jo Jo" Dugger, 40, former auto mechanic, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at his residence on Lyon Street. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Roger White officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Wayne County, Michigan native was the son of Martha Suzanne Foster Dugger of Columbia and the late G.B. Dugger. He was a graduate of Hohenwald Technical School for Mechanics and mechanic for Colonial Shell Service Station. "Jo Jo" was an avid University of Tennessee athletics fan. Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister, Katie (Greg) Scott of Columbia; brother, Benny (Greta) Dugger of Mt. Pleasant; uncle, George (Linda) Foster of Columbia; and four nephews, Zach Scott, Josh Dugger, Hunter Dugger all of Columbia and Chandler Meredith of Summertown. Active pallbearers will be Josh Dugger, Hunter Dugger, Zach Scott, John Princinsky, Guy Odom, Randall Pruitt and Kevin Ingram. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba McDonald, Jason Kelley, Ricky Pruitt, and employees of Colonial Automotive.
