Georgia Dee Wilson Goldman, 92, retired nurse at Maury Regional Medical Center and longtime resident of Culleoka, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Poplar Estates Senior Living. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born October 26, 1924, in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther Wilson and the late Cora Ann Cannady Wilson. Her husband Edward Sands Goldman preceded her in death January 30, 2005. Mrs. Goldman cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed bluegrass music. She was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, Danny Ray (Donna) Goldman of Culleoka, Debbie (Richard) Whitley of Lynnville, Ricky (Sheila) Goldman of Culleoka, Patsy (Doug) Carrington of Culleoka, Sheila Craig of Culleoka, Karen Walker of Culleoka; grandchildren, Amiee Anderson, Rachal (Dan) Knoepfel, Mike (Jennifer) Goldman, Scott (Carrie) Goldman, Bryan (Nicki) Goldman, Leigh Ann (Daniel) Kelley, Keith Whitley, Josh Goldman, Holly (Cody) Dunavant, Brittney (Travis) Hooker, Lindsey (Anthony) Green, Jake Craig, Kara (Wesley) Flynt; and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Goldman and Jerry Goldman; and one brother, James Wilson. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
