Georgia Helen Nichols

Miss Georgia Helen Nichols, 54, former resident of Baptist Church Road in Culleoka, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at NHC of Lewisburg, where she had made her home for the past year. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Rush officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends after 12:00 noon Tuesday at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Compton, California, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Burkhart Nichols and Helen Lynnell Sanford Nichols. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Suvivors include two sisters, Patricia Worrell of Franklin; Judy (Jugdish) Tejwani of Lake Forrest, California; one brother, Jack (Rickey) Nichols of Lakewood, California; twenty nieces and nephews, thirty-eight great nieces and great nephews, eight great great nieces and great great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Burkhart Nichols, Jr. and Bill Fred Holmack.
