MR. GERALD W. HOGAN Mr. Gerald Warren Hogan, 74, retired from Monsanto Company, former employee of the Maury County Collection Center and resident of Hilltop Drive, died Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Daniel Vannoy officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and after 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the son of the late Warren Gerald Hogan and Ruby Stofel Hogan Hall. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Christ and Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Thomas Hogan of Columbia; a daughter, Christy (David) Wright of Columbia; two sons, Al (Marjorie) Hogan of Smyrna and Jeff (Judy) Hogan of Williamsport; six grandchildren, Rhett Hogan, Ethan Hogan, Hope Hogan, Elliott Hogan, Hayden Wright and Noah Wright. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Hogan. Active pallbearers are Don Thomas, Donnie Thomas, Ronnie Thomas, David Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Daniel Thomas. Honorary pallbearers include Ken Townsend, Monsanto retirees and men of the Pentecostal Church of Christ.
