Gerrie Lynn “Gin” Duvall Jefferson, 59, longtime resident of Bear Creek Pike, died Friday, February 7, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Everett Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Born April 15, 1960 in Fort Lewis, Washington, she was the daughter of the late William Gerald Duvall and the late Lenis Ann Hardison Duvall. She was a 1978 graduate of Spring Hill High School, and worked as a Special Education Assistant for the Maury County Board of Education for 15 years. She enjoyed sewing, making dolls, and babysitting her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, whom she married June 6, 1980, Timothy Alan “Tim” Jefferson of Columbia; daughters, Emily (Steven) Hood of Chapel Hill and Elizabeth (Burbon) Lewis of Columbia; sister, Lisa Duvall of Columbia; grandchildren, Holly Hood, Timothy Lewis, Harrison Hood, Miley Lewis, Hadley Hood, Harmony Hood, and Margaret Lewis; mother-in-law, Ruth (Jim) Fultz; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Allen) Scott and Carol (Terry) Edwards; and brothers-in-law, Mike (Jan) Jefferson and Richard (Janie) Jefferson. Active pallbearers will be McKenly Owen, Kannon Owen, Garry Smith, Jim Fultz, Mark Lewis, Mark Hood, Joe Hood, and Daryl Hodge.
