GLADYS DODD Mrs. Gladys Farris Dodd, 85, resident of N. College Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Tommy Hagewood officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Walter Farris. She was married for over sixty years to Clarence A. Dodd, Jr. who preceded her in death in 2002. She was a graduate of Hampshire High School and a member of Locust St. Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Ronald (Martha) Dodd of Milan; three grandchildren, David (Tonna) Dodd, Sarah (Barry) Fultz, Deborah (Joe) Sims; six great-grandchildren, Davis Fultz, Nathan Fultz, Sandlyn Fultz, Hannah Dodd, Rachel Dodd and Jason Sims. Mrs. Dodd was preceded in death by an infant son, John Allen Dodd, two brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be H.D. Whiteside, David Dodd, Mike Dodd, Brad Howard, Jimmy Farris and Richard Wilkes.
