Gloria DonnaJean Creel Crigger, 71, homemaker and resident of Early Road, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at NHC Healthcare, Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born August 21, 1947 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Milton Edward Creel and the late Ophie E. McKissock Creel. Mrs. Crigger was a member of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and loved music, especially Gospel. Survivors include her husband, whom she married February 2, 1971, Arthur Ray Crigger of Columbia; sons, Bruce (Donna) Johnson, Mike (Patty) Johnson, Anthony (Candy) Crigger, Brian (Tina) Crigger; daughter, Beth (Frank) Springer; grandchildren, Danny Johnson, Tabitha Johnson, Sheryl Johnson, Kristi Henderson, Angel Springer, Candance Johnson; step grandchildren, Hanna Inabnitt, Hunter Inabnitt, Suzan Mealer, William Felty, Andy Moore, Heather Sandford, Crystal Lynch; sisters, Norma (Kyle) Rush, Wanda (Frank) Sealey; brother-in-law, Roy Pinkard; sister-in-law, Dewan Creel; and several great grandchildren,  nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Othelia Pinkard; and brother, G.E. “Bud” Creel. Active pallbearers will be Bruce Johnson, Mike Johnson, Anthony Crigger, Brian Crigger, and Frank Springer.
