Mrs. Gloria Virginia Fagan Stosberg, 90, resident of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bishop Douglas Fry officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday after 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Wyandotte County, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy Fagan and Louisa Virginia Keele Fagan. She was married to Clarence Alfred Stosberg who preceded her in death in April 1989. Mrs. Stosberg retired in 1974 from Remington Arms (Lake City Arsenal) in Independence, Missouri with 27 years of service as a machine operator for primers. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Nora Stosberg of Spring Hill; nine grandchildren, Terri (Scott) Dankenbring, Debbie (Scott) Bozzardi, and Steve (Mona) Stosberg, all of Collinsville, Illinois; Karen (Chavo) Rodriguez and Michael (Bobbie Jo) Stosberg, both of Fairview Heights, Illinois; David (Misty) Stosberg of O'Fallon, Illinois; Aron (Dawn) Stosberg and Sharon (Glen) Roberson, both of Columbia; Gloria Peters of Spring Hill; twenty-seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lila Lee Stosberg; one son, Clarence E. Stosberg; six brothers, James Fagan, Peter Fagan, John Fagan, Elijah Fagan, Alvin Fagan, Ora Lee Fagan; and four sisters, Angie Fagan, Nora Newton, Lula Thompson, and Hope Rouleau.
