Grace Counts Wiley

Mrs. Grace Counts Wiley, 85, retired employee of Weather Tamer, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at her residence on Carol Drive. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Monday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango and Rev. Billy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Robert Counts and Pearl Stofel Counts. On January 18, 1938, she married Edward Wiley who preceded her in death on October 29, 1965. She was a member of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, David Wayne Wiley of Columbia; two sisters, Bobbie Counts of Columbia; Sue (Jerry) Bowling of Phoenix, Arizona; lifelong family friend, Debbie Westmoreland Turner of Columbia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by son, Steve Eugene Wiley; sister, Bessie Owens; and brother, Luther Counts. Pallbearers will be Charles Barnes, Phillip Parrish, Bud Creel, Jimmy Turner, Bobby Neese and Johnny Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
