Mr. Granville Andrew Taylor, 80, retired electrician and resident of Santa Fe Pike, died Friday, October 26, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Oakes & Nichols with Arthur Hanes officiating. Burial will be in Little Lot Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Collins, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Andrew Taylor and Emma Sellers Taylor. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of the Collegevue Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Juanita Ann Overbey Taylor of Columbia; one daughter, Sandra (Clyde) Morton of Columbia; two brothers, Billy (Mae) Taylor of Bullard, Texas; Rowland Taylor of Long Beach, Mississippi; one sister, Hazel Bobinger of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Scott Morton, Homer Nash, Ronnie Overbey, Mark McBride, Carl McDonald, and Joe Morrison.
