Gregory Turuan Scott

Gregory Turuan Scott, 48, owner of Scott's Flooring and resident of Buck Matthews Road, died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Telford Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born December 19, 1968 in Maury County, Tennessee he was the son of Doris Elizabeth Casteel Scott and the late Albert Mabron Scott. Mr. Scott was of Pentecostal faith. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, whom he married October 7, 1989, Katie Dugger Scott of Columbia; son, Zach (Courtney) Scott of Columbia; grandchildren, Jaxon Scott of Columbia; Presley Scott of Columbia; Henley Scott of Columbia; sister, Candice Scott of Columbia; brother, Matthew (Jillian) Scott of Spring Hill; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Zach Scott, Matt Scott, Lester Meehleder, Keith Throneberry, Tim McKennon, Benny Dugger, Tracy Lovell, and Chris Adkins. Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Tanner and Auto Trim Employees, Darryl Jones and Custom Tinting and Off-Road Employees, Steven Woods, J.T.
