Mr. Harley Edward Rogers, 72, retired employee of General Motors and resident of Longview Drive in Centerville, died Friday, September 28, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Winningham officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. A native of Arkansas, he was the son of the late Earl Melvin Rogers and Fannie Dicie Palmer Rogers. He was a former resident of Ortonville, Michigan and had made his home in Centerville for the past thirteen years. Survivors include his wife, Patricia June Davis Rogers of Centerville; one daughter, Mrs. Marcella Sue (Ronnie) Potts of Culleoka; two sons, Robert Daniel Rogers and Douglas Eugene Rogers, both of Centerville; two grandchildren, James Robert Neelley and Steven Lee Neelley, both of Culleoka; two sisters, Mrs. Earldean (Dempsey) Slinkard of Bay, Arkansas; Mrs. Shirley Bohr of Ortonville, Michigan; and five brothers, J. W. (Lola) Rogers; Ralph Glenn Rogers of Evening Shade, Arkansas; Dale Wayne (Euritha) Rogers of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Elvis (Betty) Rogers of Hardy, Arkansas; and Wesley Rogers of Scotts Hill, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Rogers and two brothers, Lesley Rogers and Charles Melvin Rogers.
