Harold Dotson

Harold Dotson, 71, retired self-employed plumber and resident of Todd Carter Road, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P. M. Sunday at The Lord's House in Phelps, Kentucky with Rev. Mitch Bowling officiating. Burial will be in Billy Dotson Cemetery in Phelps, Kentucky. The family will visit with friends Friday and Saturday after 5:00 P.M. at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements and Phelps Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements in Kentucky. A native of Pikeville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George Wheeler Dotson and Louise McCoy Dotson. He was married to Peggy Bostic Dotson who preceded him in death. Survivors include four daughters, Robyn Dotson, Tarissa (Bobby) Mattison, and Larri Dotson, all of Columbia; Elizabeth (David) Stroth of Chicago, Illinois; one son, Harold C. (Karen) Dotson of South Bend, Indiana; four brothers, Clarence (Rissie) Dotson, Troy (Nellie) Dotson, James Dotson, and Thurman Dotson; grandchildren, Justin, Nicholas, Ryan, P. J., Kyle, Alex; Kristen, Kayla, Selena, Sissy, Anjelica, and Rosa. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Della Mae, Elvie, Martha, Belvie; and four brothers, Clyde, Lonnie William, and Fonso.
