Mrs. Hattie Willie Potts Wilson, 82, widow of Leonard "Cap" Wilson and former resident of Sunset Lane, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Dr. Robert Gamble officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James Clarence Potts and Betty Leona Smithson Potts. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Since 1999, Mrs. Wilson made her home with her daughter, Hattie Mai (Jimmy) White of Culleoka. Additional survivors include two grandsons, James Lewis White, II of Culleoka and Andrew Dale (Kerri) White of Killen, Alabama; a sister, Frances Hendrix of Columbia; two brothers, James Clarence Potts of Mt. Pleasant and Milton Potts of Chapmonsboro; five great-grandchildren, Hannah Grace White, Alex Richardson, Reann Lee White, Garrett White and Gil Rodriquez. Active pallbearers are Marvin Edwards, Sr., Marvin Edwards, Jr., James Lewis White, II, Andrew Dale White, Charles Davis, Chip Davis and Bobby Harmon. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Thomas Dake, Dr. Belinda Bart and nurses and technicians at NHC of Columbia.
