Hazel Sims Bradley

Mrs. Hazel Sims Bradley, 86, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at her residence on Alpine Drive under Hospice care. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. James Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Phil Campbell, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Oscar Sims and Minnie Stegall Sims. She was first married to Robert Paul Walker who preceded her in death in 1963. She later married George Bradley who preceded her in death February 14, 1995. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Craft Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include one brother, O.A. "Shorty" Sims, Jr. of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Nina Lancaster of Lobelville, Mrs. Ethel Howell of Scottsboro, Alabama; two grandchildren, Paul Timothy Dale, Willard Keith Dale both of Columbia; 8 great-grandchildren; and special caregiver, Tonya Smith of Columbia. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Dale. Pallbearers will be Nickolas Dale, Michael Dale, Mike Sharpton, David Howell, Joe Dale and Glenn Murfee. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Dale, Fellowship Sunday School Class at Craft Memorial United Methodist Church.
