Mrs. Hazel Martin Richardson, 88, widow of James "J.C." Richardson and resident of Scott Hollow Road in Culleoka, died Monday, December 27, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan and Tim McHenry officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Leon Martin and Sarah Willie Audry Martin. She was a homemaker and former substitute school teacher at Culleoka. She was a member of Maury County Farm Bureau Women's Association. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Michael (Kathy) Richardson of Culleoka; one daughter, Janice (Leonard) Brown of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Matthew Lee Brown of Lexington Park, Maryland, Bradley James Richardson of Culleoka, Nathan Andrew Brown of Chattanooga, Kristen Michelle Richardson and Hollie Diane Richardson both of Culleoka; two nephews, Fred D. Baker of Little Lott, Jerry W. Baker of Columbia; two nieces, Sue Gail Barrett of Lavergne and Wanda Baker Mobley of Duck River. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Martin Baker and a brother, Howard Martin. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lee Brown, Bradley James Richardson, Nathan Andrew Brown, Fred D. Baker, Jerry W. Baker and Ernie Mobley. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons of Culleoka Church of Christ.
