A graveside service will be conducted Monday at the Arbors at Polk Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jason Caddy and her mother, Patti Hollinsworth officiating. She was a 1996 graduate of Columbia Central High School. An avid animal lover, she adored her cat, Baby Thang and connecting her mother with animals and people who needed someone to care. Heather enjoyed her Mama’s flower, but was not keen on helping her Mom in the flower gardens. In addition to her mother, Patricia “Patti” Hollinsworth of Columbia, survivors include her step-father, Tom Hollinsworth of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Betty Grooms of Columbia; daughter, Skylar Brooks of Columbia; special friend, Tarek Owens of Columbia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Active pallbearers will be Austin Pope, Preston Pope, David Grooms, Tarek Owens, Sal Inghilleri, and Carlton Scott.
