Mrs. Helen "Hynie" Wallace Moore, 81, former secretary at Zion Presbyterian Church, died Monday, March 22, 2004, at her residence on Hatcher Lane. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Zion Presbyterian Church with Rev. Arch Warren officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday after 11:00 A.M. at the church. The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Charles Tate Wallace and Margaret Matilda Tanner Wallace. She was married to Eugene Moore who preceded her in death. Mrs. Moore was the retired owner of Ethan Allen Furniture Store on Richard Jones Road in Green Mills. She was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one brother, Ed (Emmie) Wallace of Charleston, SC; one brother-in-law, James C. Couch, Sr. of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles R. Wallace, and one sister, Louise Couch.
