Helen Fuchs Unverzagt, 85, resident of Pawnee Trail, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Life Care Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Central Christian Church with Bro. Dave Zeigler officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6 - 7 p.m. at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Orleans Parrish, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Henry Fuchs, Sr. and Ida Schlosser Fuchs. She was retired manager of Desoto Inc. Chemical Company. Mrs. Unverzagt was a member of Central Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Errol (Tommie) Unverzagt of Johnstown, Colorado; a daughter, Mrs. Liz (Dennis) Satterfield of Columbia; a brother, Raymond Fuchs of Chalmette, LA; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Earl H. Unverzagt and Emile Unverzagt, a daughter, Eve Unverzagt, a sister, Carmelite Beverung, and two brothers, Henry Fuchs and Anthony Fuchs.
